Facing My Fears

‘If you want the Universe to come you have to put yourself out there!’

Such great advise!

I am somebody that has been listening to my inner voices for as long as I can remember. What I have only recently come to realize is that I have been choosing to focus on the fearful voices. The voices that tell me I am not good enough, the critic within me!

That skeptical voice that is always questioning, you know the one we all have it!

However, lots of you are much better at choosing to listen to the positive vibes, those go-getter mantras, that are somewhere within all of us.

I now know that I too have those good voices, those nurturing voices.  I have just been choosing not to focus on them.  Thus reducing them to whispers, basically silencing them as they tugged at me like a petulant child.

I have put everything and everybody before myself and whilst I know this is not a negative trait, I also know I have not been nurturing my passion.

In the last few years, I have gone back to Art and explored different avenues within the profession. But only relatively recently I have landed in a place where I feel really alive.
So I began asking myself, what would I do if I knew that I wouldn't fail?
Ha! Low and behold, I am learning to love outsmarting my fears!

So as I continue my journey, I encourage you to share your journey as well and for us to support one another.

Remember we rise by lifting others.
